| Bike Hire  2010 see's a new addition to Performance Cycles' services - Bike Hire. There are many places in the Cotswold to hire a bike, but we've noticed they're all pretty expensive and you can't get yourself a decent road bike to get out and enjoy this fantastic area. So we've designed our bike hire to work a little differently - to start with, we don't charge by the hour, instead we think a 24 hour hire period is a much better way to go. That way you can get the most out of the bike you've hired.
We've got a small fleet of road bikes for people to hire - so now you don't have to find space in the car for your bike when coming to visit the Cotswolds, all you need is your kit/shoes, helmet and pedals. And this should also mean less arguments before you leave home about "spending our entire holiday on your bike!!". Now you can book yourself a bike for a day (or longer) and get some great training in whilst you're here. We can also offer hire of Garmin units with pre-programmed routes, or you can map out your own, email it to us and we'll load it ready to do for you. The costs for bike hire will be... Adult road bike (alloy / carbon with Tiagra spec) - £22 per day Adult road bike (full carbon with 105 spec) - £50 per day Garmin GPS unit - £10 per day In all cases, there will be a 25% discount for each additional days hire. Bike can be delivered (free of charge) to local holiday locations within a six mile radius of Performance Cycles - providing this is arranged 48 hours in advance.
