Following the recently updated guidelines from the Government we are happy to confirm that Performance Cycles is OPEN FOR BUSINESS. The safety of our customers and staff is our main priority, therefore we have implemented a strict one-out / one-in policy. When you arrive, please do not be offended if we ask you to wait outside whilst we deal with another customer. And whilst waiting, please ensure you observe the 2m social distancing guidelines laid out by the Government.
The coffee machine is also fired up and in action – therefore if you’d like to stop by for a mid-ride coffee and cake stop, please feel free to do so. We’ll be serving coffee’s in take-away cups and ask that you sit outside to drink them (observing any social distancing requirements from other customers).
After the craziness that was summer 2020 the workshop has calmed down a bit, but is still busy, so pre-booking of work is essential. Please do not bring bikes to Poulton for work that have not been pre-booked, as you will probably be asked to take it home with you again and drop it back closer to your workshop booking date. Due to the additional cleaning measures each bike we work on now needs to go through, the minimum level of work we will take on is a bronze (£50) service. Anything less than this (such as a puncture repair) will be subject to a £10 cleaning surcharge to cover the time and cost of cleaning bikes before they can be put in the stand.
If you’ve been able to get hold of one of the UK Government Fix Your Bike vouchers – we’re happy to accept these at Performance Cycles.
If you’d like to contact us, please email us at firstname.lastname@example.org, message us via our social media channels or call us on 01285 851946.
